Project Architect Position
PROJECT ARCHITECT
Gries Architectural Group, Inc. (GAGI) is seeking a project architect to be a key part of our firm. The candidate will work in all phases of the architectural project development process including conceptual design, design development, construction documentation and construction administration services. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Lead production of schematic design, design development and construction documents
- Engages in space planning, needs assessment and collaborative problem solving
- Preparation for and participation in project development meetings
- Creation and management of building information modeling (BIM) utilizing REVIT software
- Coordination/collaboration with various disciplines/consultants involved in projects including engineers
- Participation in construction administration services including: site meetings, request for information response, shop drawing review, finish selection, etc.
- Research architectural products
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years architecture experience in a similar role
- Professional degree in architecture from accredited architecture program or equivalent
- Ability to collaborate positively and professionally in team environment
- Strong technical proficiency and creative skills
- Design oriented
- Able to meet challenging deadlines while producing a quality product
- Strong proficiency in REVIT architecture is a must, AutoCad, InDesign, Photoshop along with a variety of rendering software is beneficial

Open Position for Revit Technician
REVIT TECHNICIAN
Since 1983, Gries Architectural Group has provided total design solutions for commercial, retail, religious, automotive and industrial clients. We are currently seeking an innovative and productive individual to join our team.
Successful candidate will be required to:
- Transform conceptual/schematic designs using Revit into working construction documents
- Be able to review drawings to ensure adherence to established specifications and standards; perform routine drafting and technical tasks as required throughout the project duration
- Participate in the preparation of schematic design, design development, construction documentation and any additional drawing
- Maintain quality standards, format special requirements, etc. as mandated by office production standards
- Coordinate working drawing information with related outsources and consultants.
- Create 3D perspectives
A minimum of 3-5 years of architectural drafting/design experience within the commercial or retail industries is preferred.
- The job requires a high level of proficiency with Revit.
