Since 1983, Gries Architectural Group has provided innovative design solutions for our commercial clients.  We are currently seeking a qualified individual to be a key part of our team.  The candidate will work in all phases of the architectural project development process including conceptual design, design development, construction documentation and construction administration services.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

  • Lead production of schematic design, design development and construction documents
  • Engages in space planning, needs assessment and collaborative problem solving
  • Preparation for and participation in project development meetings
  • Creation and management of building information modeling (BIM) utilizing REVIT software
  • Coordination/collaboration with various disciplines/consultants involved in projects including engineers
  • Participation in construction administration services including: site meetings, request for information response, shop drawing review, finish selection, etc.
  • Research architectural products


  • Minimum 5 years architecture experience in a similar role
  • Professional degree in architecture from accredited architecture program or equivalent
  • Ability to collaborate positively and professionally in team environment
  • Strong technical proficiency and creative skills
  • Design oriented
  • Able to meet challenging deadlines while producing a quality product
  • Strong proficiency in REVIT architecture is a must, AutoCad, InDesign, Photoshop along with a variety of rendering software is beneficial
